Dad’s New Girlfriend

What Dad’s New Girlfriend is about

Colette is your father's new partner: charming, carefree and hard to ignore. The chemistry between the two of you is obvious from the first meeting, and every glance leaves you wondering whether some lines are meant to be crossed. All characters are adults, and the story plays on that tension through six short episodes. Nobody says it aloud.

Episode 1 recap

The first episode is a brief, quiet exchange in a kitchen. Colette, the new partner of the narrator's father, offers a coffee with milk from the fridge, and the narrator declines.

She jokes that the coffee machine does not let you tip that high, then wonders if it does, and decides it does not.

Nothing much happens on screen, and the charge is in the small talk. It sets up an attraction between two adults that nobody states out loud. There is very little dialogue in this first episode, so it works as a mood more than a story, a first meeting built on a single playful remark and the sense that these two will be hard to keep apart over the remaining episodes.

What to expect

Dad's New Girlfriend runs six episodes of about a minute each, told in second person. You are an adult son coming home, and Colette is the new face at the dinner table. She is friendly in a way that feels like an invitation, and the story lets you decide how much to read into it.

It is labeled Taboo, and the thrill is mostly about boundaries: shared kitchens, a quick hello that lingers, a family photo you cannot look at the same way. Everyone in the cast is AI-generated.

The pace is brisk, and each clip ends on a small cliffhanger.

It is a quick, flirt-heavy watch, with six parts that fly by.
