My Fiancée’s Best Friend

What My Fiancée’s Best Friend is about

His fiancée's best friend has never hidden how much she dislikes him. Then wedding week arrives, and he learns that the hostility was covering something else: she has wanted him all along. A slow-turning enemies-to-lovers temptation story with a ticking clock, and every character is a grown adult. The countdown to the ceremony makes every shared moment riskier.

Episode 1 recap

The maid of honor knocks on the door, ready for duty, and she and the groom exchange barbs before his fiancée tells him to be nice. The maid of honor promises she will win him over before the week is out. He says she can try.

While he waits, he reads what she has written for her toast. It praises the bride as her sister and soulmate, says the groom does not deserve her and gives him one line. She points out that nobody asks so often about someone they hate. He says he does not hate her, he just thinks she is not good enough for his fiancée.

His fiancée asks him to take the garment bag up. The maid of honor tells him to prove himself: the bride will be at the venue all day tomorrow, and she needs someone to zip her dress. Noon, she says, and he should not be late.
