Madison: My Dad’s Best Friend’s Daughter

What Madison: My Dad’s Best Friend’s Daughter is about

Madison, an adult woman and the daughter of Dad's best friend, moves into the attic for a three-month stay. Chemistry with Ryan is instant. Then, out of the blue, his partner calls to say she is coming home tomorrow. Time is running out, and the house is no longer a place to hide. One decision is all it takes.

Episode 1 recap

Madison, an adult woman, is vlogging her trip. She is heading to a tennis exchange arranged by her dad's best friend, who owns the circuit and has offered her a place in his house for the whole stay. She cannot wait to arrive.

Ryan opens the door, and she notes with a smile that he has grown older too. He says she has grown up, and talks about meeting her father on a building site one summer. It feels strange to have her under his roof, he admits, then reminds himself she is an adult.

She explains she wanted to see the world, but her dad insisted she start with people the family trusts. At dinner, a request to pass the cucumber turns into banter full of double meanings, and the episode ends on a question that is not really about tennis.

A guest in the attic

Madison arrives as a long-term guest and the attic becomes her space. She and Ryan hit it off at once, which is a problem the second his partner announces her return.

The series is built on a countdown: one call, one day and a house that suddenly feels smaller. Vertical episodes run about a minute, and the free ones stay suggestive.

Candy gives it no category tag, but the setup is classic temptation: a welcome guest, a loyal partner and a short window to decide. It is a short, tense watch.
