My Wife Hired My Nurse

What My Wife Hired My Nurse is about

Jake has broken both hands, so his wife hires a home nurse and heads to work. She pictured an older woman, but Mila arrives in a blue uniform with the top button undone. She helps with everything Jake cannot do himself, and his wife never sees her, and the days stretch out with no one watching.

Episode 1 recap

Jake has broken both hands, and his wife arranges a home nurse before leaving for work. The agency has promised someone in her sixties, so he expects no distractions.

The nurse walks in, and he points out that she is not that old. She says sorry to disappoint him. She tells him she needs to change into something more suitable and sends him to wait.

When she returns she teases that his arm is not the only thing under pressure. She says she knows exactly what is causing it and that her special patient is about to get special treatment. His wife never sees her, which sets the stage for the long days ahead.

Home care, all day

With both hands out of action, Jake needs help with almost everything, which makes the nurse unusually close to him for hours. The wife assumed she had arranged a safe, motherly helper, and her mistake is the joke of the story.

It is a house-bound setup with a lot of one-on-one time. The nurse is a confident adult woman, and the empty home gives the pair plenty of privacy. Episodes are vertical and about a minute long, which keeps the story moving briskly from one day of care to the next.
