Pleasure Island

What Pleasure Island is about

Evangelina has just met her stepdad's brother, and Chad is dangerously handsome. Both adults, they board a wild yacht party where the swimsuits barely stay on and the fun never stops. A family connection should keep them apart, but the boat keeps pushing them together, one dare at a time. The party is only the beginning, and the yacht has plenty of places to hide.

Episode 1 recap

Evangelina, an adult woman, trades teasing remarks with her new stepdad about aim and who does it better. He says she beats her mother, she says she is glad he married her mom, and the banter takes a flirtier turn.

Back at the villa, he wants her to meet his brother, whom he calls much more handsome than himself. Chad turns out to be everything advertised. He tells her she is more beautiful than his brother described, and she says he is not bad-looking himself.

Chad mentions a party on a yacht tonight and asks if she would like to join the action. She says yes, and he invites her to jump in with him. The family tie that should keep them apart is the least of their worries.

All aboard

First impressions matter, and Chad makes a strong one. The yacht turns a family introduction into a floating party where nobody keeps their distance for long.

Candy tags it taboo. The vertical episodes run about a minute and use the yacht setting for sun, music and crowded decks where anything could happen.

The title promises indulgence, and the series delivers a lighthearted take on a family tangle. The question is how long Evangelina can pretend it is just a party. It is a lively series that is easy to start, with a sunny, carefree feel.
