What She Was Sent to Kill Me is about

In a lethal game, everyone expects Eli to be the first to die. Delilah Kane is the hunter sent to end him. But by the time the game orders her to pull the trigger, Eli has already given up his own chance to escape in order to save her, and that changes the rules for both of them, and for whoever is watching the game.

Episode 1 recap

The episode drops into a deadly game. The players run for the gate to earn freedom, while the hunters are told that anyone who helps a player dies with them. Eli is bleeding, and a hunter named Delilah has him at gunpoint.

He says he is also a doctor, and tells her he can stop her own bleeding. She does not trust him and orders him to keep moving, but he keeps talking calmly. He makes a trade: he treats her injury, and she lets him run.

She gives him five seconds to go. He wraps the wound, then turns slowly and asks whether she wants him to stop. She lets him go and starts the count. The system's voice then orders her to kill him, and the episode ends on that command.

Our take

Worth it if you want something darker and plot-driven, with a survival game and two enemies forced to decide whom they trust.

Blackout at My Yacht Party is a Spicy, members-only title, while She Was Sent to Kill Me is a standard series with a free first episode and far more thriller than romance.

Hunter and target

This one is built like a thriller first and a romance second. The premise sets two adults against each other, and the surprise is that the target has already made a choice about the hunter. Delilah must now decide what to do with a man who will not play along.

It has no category tags on Candy, and it is less about a family twist than about danger and loyalty. Episodes are vertical and about a minute long, with quick, tense scenes.
