Veronica’s Fitting Room

What Veronica’s Fitting Room is about

Veronica has measured and fitted every groom who has come through her shop. With five days to go before his wedding, she decides this one is staying. The curtain, the tape measure and a few lingering touches are all she needs. The tape measure keeps wandering longer than any suit requires. Both are fictional adults.

Episode 1 recap

A groom walks into a tailor shop five days before the wedding. Veronica welcomes him and starts measuring, calling it an occupational hazard when the moment gets awkward. Your fiancée is a lucky woman, she says,.

His phone rings with wedding problems. The venue is a mess and his mother is arguing with the caterer. He steps aside to sort it out. Veronica notes that a wedding is supposed to be stressful but it does not have to be in here.

She tells him the coat and shirt must come off so she can measure his waist, then asks whether he is sure he is ready for marriage. She invites him to come back alone tomorrow, when she will have the suit ready, with something extra. Both are adults.

The story behind Veronica's Fitting Room

A boutique, a mirror and a woman who has seen it all. Veronica's Fitting Room is a small-scale story with a lot of close contact: pins, measuring tape and long pauses in front of the glass.

Candy files it under MILF. It is a sly and confident story, suggestive in tone and not explicit. Each vertical episode takes about one minute, so you can try the fitting room quickly.
