Newlywed Not Satisfied

What Newlywed Not Satisfied is about

Piper arrives at a luxury villa for her honeymoon, but her new husband is busy with work. The only person paying her any attention is the man carrying her bags. Bored and neglected, she decides to do something about it, and the villa has plenty of quiet corners to help her. All characters are adults. Each day she waits a little less patiently.

Episode 1 recap

The episode begins with a teaser: a woman tells a man he does not have to be careful tonight. He objects that she is Mrs. Hollis and married, and she says that right now she does not care about her husband.

Then it rewinds to the honeymoon villa. A staff member welcomes Mr. and Mrs. Hollis, and when they are alone the husband gets an investor call that could last a couple of hours. His wife tells him to take his time.

Left to herself, she admits she married James for his money and that, since he has no time for her, she sees no reason not to take what she wants. She turns to the man carrying their bags and asks him to help with her sunscreen, since she cannot reach her back.

Honeymoon, party of one

The honeymoon should be romantic, and instead Piper spends it waiting. The man at the villa is attentive in all the ways her husband is not, which is where the story starts.

Candy tags it taboo and wife. Vertical episodes of about a minute give the villa a glossy, sun-lit look and an air of quiet temptation.

The drama is built on neglect and opportunity. Piper is not swept away so much as she chooses, and that choice is what makes the series compelling. It is easy to try for free and quick to finish.
