Lodge 69 Was Double Booked

What Lodge 69 Was Double Booked is about

A reservation mix-up turns a quiet mountain getaway into a shared vacation when two couples discover they have rented the same cabin. All four are adults, nobody wants to give up the weekend, and a single lodge soon means a lot of unplanned time together. Someone has to decide whether to share the space politely or find another way to spend the weekend.

Episode 1 recap

A mountain lodge has been booked twice. Two couples, all adults, arrive at the door of Lodge 69 and discover that each holds a valid reservation. The inn has no other rooms and the road is closed.

One of them says it is not a big drama: four adults, two bedrooms and a hot tub. What could go wrong? The others agree reluctantly, and the evening settles into small moments, one partner fetching a charger, another asking how an outfit looks.

One person warns someone not to walk into the wrong room. Another mentions that her partner will be skiing all day tomorrow, which makes the plans for tomorrow very clear.

Every character is a fictional adult. After an episode, Candy lets you chat with the cast.

What to expect

Think of it as a comedy of manners with higher stakes. Four people, one set of keys and a weekend that nobody was prepared to share.

The mountain setting keeps everyone in close quarters, so shared meals and shared spaces replace small talk. Candy tags it Wife and credits two cast names. Episodes last about a minute and play on awkward introductions turning into easy flirting, with each couple sizing up the other, and the lodge feels smaller by the hour. The tone is suggestive, with close-ups, and stays short of graphic.
